Hi Guys!

I'm new here and I need some tools for hacking Pokemon: Emerald for the GBA.

The tools I need are as follows:

• A map editor
  
• A tool to add all 649 Pokemon
  
• An event editor
  
• A tool to change which Pokemon appear where
  
• A tool for adding legendaries to scenary
  
• A tool for changing which Pokemon trainers use
  
• A tool for adding trainers
  

If you know any of these, then I would be most grateful.

P.S I got referred to here by a friend, because apparently you have some great tools!

A map editor - Advance Map
A tool to add all 649 Pokemon - it doesn't exist
An event editor - We call it a script editor. XSE and PKSV-UI are good.
A tool to change which Pokemon appear where - You can do this in advance map
A tool for adding legendaries to scenary - You can put them in a map, using Advance map
A tool for changing which Pokemon trainers use - I think this is done using PET
A tool for adding trainers - EDIT: It doesn't exist

~ Tool to edit Pokemon: YAPE | Tool to change the sprites: NSE | Tool to change the order of Pokedex: Pokedex Order Editor
~ Event Editor: Advance Map too
~ Tool for change which Pokemon will appeared: Advance Map too.
~ Tool for add legendaries to scenary: PokeTronic
~ Tool for change which Pokemon trainers use: PET
~ Tool for add trainers: Its no posible, but you can edit your sprites with unLZ.GBA.

So if I wanted to make a ROM with all 649 Pokes, it would have to be a B/W hack (and I don't even know if these exist)?

And can I add any other Pokes at all to an Emerald ROM?

You can add some pokes, but if you don't want to replace any you can only add 25 (you can read a tutorial in spanish for ruby here). And there aren't tools for B/W.

Ah well that sucks. Looks like I'll have to put up with that then. Can I add more 'space' to the maps on Emerald? Like make certain areas larger?

Yes, you can do that in AM (Advance Map), but it's dangerous, so make a backup before doing it.

You can corrupt the ROM :D

No, but most of us have learned to use it thinking and fooling with the options xD
